Bozeman, MT
The Golden Rule Building was at one time a very prominent building on Bozeman’s Main Street, originally built in 1906. In the early 1960’s it was renovated and a CMU screen was attached to the brick and glass storefront. The building stood in this condition for about 40 years before being purchased by the current owner; his goal was to return the building to a more historic elegance. Legends Studio, Inc. started this design with significant demolition to remove the dated 60’s style front. Following this demolition was a sizeable restoration and renovation to the existing storefront and interior of the building. To update the building, sleek, black granite was incorporated with the storefront windows at the street level, restoring the building’s grand presence on Bozeman’s main thoroughfare. Though one of our most involved projects, the Golden Rule Renovation and Restoration has also been one of our most rewarding design works.
